This role provides administrative support for the daily operations of the firm to the following area: Administrative Assistant to the Counseling Team including specialized support for NFC attorney trainers. NFC expects that this position will be held by a highly motivated proactive individual who excels in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment that values top-quality work and positive contributions to the workplace. We are looking for not only an experienced administrative professional, but someone with very strong PowerPoint experience to assist NFC attorneys with training decks.
Hours: Full-Time (9:00am – 5:00pm), Hybrid In-Office/Remote Position

Reports to: Counseling Group Partner
Essential Functions:
Provide administrative support including but not limited to:
- Create, edit and revise documents including employee handbooks, templates, letters, charts, and indexes
- Organize and save client files to NFC system
- Convert and format documents (PDF, Excel and Word)
- Assist NFC investigations team with maintaining the templates, updating the spreadsheet of investigations, and helping with the quarterly IPG meetings
- Retrieve articles from Law 360 and conduct other research as requested
- Calendar all meetings for Counseling Team attorneys (internal and external)
- Manage Counseling Team templates; revise and update as requested
- Assist Counseling Team with creating meeting agenda and summarizing notes from meetings
- Manage legal mail; scan, save, and distribute to appropriate team members
- Flexible to jump in as requested on any firm administrative duties as needed (eg: preparing exhibits, managing charts, photo copying, scanning, meeting preparation, etc.) and serve as back-up to other firm administrative professionals
Provide coordination and support to the NFC training team:
- Produce and design customized employment law-related training presentations on Microsoft PowerPoint depending on individual client needs with oversight from NFC attorney trainers
- Must multitask on preparing PowerPoint decks for various client trainings
- Coordinate and calendar all training sessions, either in person or virtual, and have knowledge of virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom, WebEx, and Microsoft Teams
- Provide virtual training assistance including insertion of polls or other virtual features
- Detailed follow up with clients on trainings, including with attendance sheets or other documents
Skills Required:
- 3-5 years of administrative experience
- Ability to multi-task, concentrate, plan and work in a fast-paced environment taking direction from multiple attorneys with high expectations of performance
- Superior technical skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom, Microsoft Teams (plus: knowledge of and ability to learn other virtual platforms needed)
- Ability to design and edit PowerPoint decks
- Prior legal administrative experience is a plus but not required
- Excellent grammar and proofreading skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively on team
Salary Range: 53k – 56k
The Firm is providing this good faith salary range to comply with applicable law. The applicant’s final salary will depend on a number of factors including the applicant’s skills and experience.
