We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic marketing and business development team. The ideal candidate will support various marketing initiatives, enhance client engagement, and contribute to the overall growth of our firm. This role will involve collaboration with attorneys and staff to execute marketing and business development strategies that promote our services and strengthen NFC’s brand presence.
Hours: Monday – Friday (9:00 am – 5:00 pm EST); Firm needs may require some work outside of normal working hours.
Location: Hybrid – The role resides in the Chatham, NJ office and is a full-time job. The person in this role is expected to work on the current hybrid schedule, working in the office two days a week (Wednesday required plus either Tuesday or Thursday). During onboarding and training there will be a three (3) day in-office per week requirement. This hybrid schedule is subject to change based on the needs of the Firm.

Essential Functions:
Social Media Support:
- Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies across platforms (existing and to be introduced)
- Create engaging content, including posts, graphics, and videos, to enhance firm visibility.
- Monitor and respond to social media interactions and inquiries.
- Assist attorneys with managing and monitoring their social media accounts.
- Analyze social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and provide recommendations for improvement.
Webinars and In-Person Seminars Event Support:
- Coordinate logistics for webinars and seminars, including scheduling, venue selection, and equipment setup.
- Collaborate with attorneys to develop content and materials for presentations.
- Promote events through email marketing, social media, and firm website.
- Gather feedback from attendees and assist in post-event analysis.
- Assist with onsite support at events to include materials/collateral for presenters and attendees.
Client Acquisition Support:
- Assist in the development of client acquisition strategies and marketing materials.
- Support the implementation of outreach initiatives, including email campaigns and networking events.
- Maintain, update, and clean up client databases and track interactions to support follow-up efforts.
- Research for RFPs and client pitches inclusive of business profiles, docket research, intel on opposing counsel and judges, etc.
- Monitoring client/prospect happenings via Google Alerts and other social media vehicles.
Continuing Legal Education Support:
- Help organize and promote continuing legal education (CLE) programs for attorneys and clients.
- Track and manage CLE compliance requirements, and registrations and issue CLE certifications – internally and externally.
- Support with the preparation of materials and resources for CLE presentations.
Internal Communications Support:
- Coordinate with various departments to gather content and ensure alignment on messaging.
- Assist in crafting and disseminating internal communications to keep staff informed of marketing initiatives and firm news.
- Support the development of internal newsletters and updates.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of previous experience in a marketing role, preferably in a professional services environment (legal experience a plus).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and marketing tools.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Salary Range: $58k – $63k
The Firm is providing this good faith salary range to comply with applicable law. The applicant’s final salary will depend on a number of factors including the applicant’s skills and experience.
