Arooj Siraj, ESQ.

Arooj Siraj has experience practicing civil defense litigation with an emphasis in labor and employment law.  Areas of focus include discrimination, harassment, hostile work environment, whistleblower and retaliation matters in New Jersey courts and before government agencies.  Additionally she has collaborated with general counsel of various state entities to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.  Arooj provides counseling on a range of employment issues including internal investigations of public entities and private companies to evaluate various employment-related issues such as mitigation of risks, liability concerns and workplace accommodations.

Before entering the private practice, Arooj served a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Katherine R. Dupuis, Presiding Chancery Judge of the New Jersey Superior Court’s Union Vicinage. She is bilingual in English and Urdu, and received her J.D. from Widener University Delaware School of Law and her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University.
