NUKK-FREEMAN & CERRA EXPANDS WEST COAST PRESENCE WITH ADDITION OF RACHAEL AGUIRRE

SAN DIEGO (August 17, 2023): Employment law firm Nukk-Freeman & Cerra, PC (NFC) is proud to welcome attorney Rachael Aguirre to the firm, who started with the firm on May 1, 2023.

Aguirre has a long history of successfully serving as General Counsel and in various in-house legal roles for prominent companies and organizations in Southern California. Most recently, Aguirre served as General Counsel (employment) for Career Strategies, Inc., a prominent staffing company with offices throughout the country. In this role, Aguirre represented management of private sector businesses in employment law and employee relations matters covering laws such as under Title VII, EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, FEHA, EDD, DOL and other state and federal laws. She also advised and counseled on all types of employment related matters including discrimination claims, handbook provisions, workplace policies, accommodation issues, CDC guidelines, and COVID related compliance issues. She previously held in-house counsel roles at the Shore Hotel, the Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Thomson Reuters, and the Screen Actors’ Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. Her experience also includes working as a law firm associate, where she represented union clients in employment and labor relations matters to ensure compliance with applicable contracts and laws.

Aguirre earned her law degree from the University of California Berkeley School of Law, and previously earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola Marymount University. She speaks both English and Spanish.
