NUKK-FREEMAN & CERRA PARTNER STACY L. FODE NAMED GENERAL COUNSEL FOR NAMWOLF

SAN DIEGO (August 7, 2023): Attorney Stacy L. Fode, Managing Partner of Nukk-Freeman & Cerra,
PC (NFC)’s West Coast office, has been named as the General Counsel for the National Association of
Minority and Women-Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF). Her official title is “GC Board Emeritus.”

Fode served on the NAMWOLF Board of Directors for 3 years, and she is actively committed to
working on issues related to diversity and inclusion in the legal profession. She is the Immediate
Past Chair of NAMWOLF’s Communications Committee and is actively involved in the organization’s
Labor & Employment Practice Area Committee. Stacy’s leadership also includes serving as the
first-ever Chair of the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys (ADTA) Women of ADTA Committee,
which was recently renewed for another term. Fode has also served as the President of Lawyers
Club of San Diego, an organization with a mission to “advance the status of women in law and in
society.” Her law practice is focused on employment litigation and advisement and business
litigation, and she represents business clients in all aspects of employment law including wrongful
termination, discrimination, sexual harassment, whistle blower, employment agreement and trade
secret disputes, and wage and hour matters, including class actions and PAGA matters.

Fode has been the Managing Partner of NFC’s West Coast office since its launch in October of 2020,
at the height of the Covid-10 pandemic. The firm is based on the East Coast, with a team of 35
attorneys in New York and New Jersey and has a growing West Coast presence.
