Melanie Ghaw, ESQ.

Melanie Ghaw focuses her practice on labor and employment law matters. Drawing on significant experience assisting clients with advice and counsel, Melanie represents employers on a wide range of labor and employment matters including drafting contracts, settlement agreements, severance agreements, and general releases, as well as, handbooks, codes of ethics, and compliance policies.  Melanie also provides strategic advice and counsel to employers on varied case law and motions relating to litigation, conducting due diligence on employment issues under federal, local, and state labor and employment laws.  Further, Melanie’s expertise includes conducting human resources and compliance audits to ensure adherence to all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and best practices.

Prior to joining NFC, Melanie was an Associate at Martin Clearwater & Bell and a Corporate and Investment Bank Compliance Associate at JPMorgan Chase & Co.  A graduate of the Appalachian School of Law, Melanie is a former Signals Intelligence Analyst and Special Security Officer with The United States Marine Corps., is conversational in Cantonese and has published a litany of articles for professional journals and trade publications.
