Micaela P. Banach brings more than two decades of distinguished litigation experience, representing clients in a broad spectrum of employment matters as well as complex business disputes and professional liability actions. She is widely regarded for her strategic approach to high-stakes litigation and her proven ability to deliver exceptional results for her clients.
Over the course of her career, Micaela has successfully represented clients in federal and state jury and bench trials, argued a successful appeal before the 4th District Court of Appeals, and secured numerous favorable settlements. Prior to joining NFC, she was a Partner at Noonan Lance Boyer & Banach LLP and before that, she served as a Partner at Kirby Noonan Lance & Hoge LLP.
A respected leader in the San Diego legal community, Micaela has served in numerous professional and civic roles, including seven years on the Board of Directors of the San Diego County Bar Foundation, where she served as President in 2017. She has also been actively involved with the San Diego County Bar Association, Lawyers Club of San Diego, and is currently a Master in the American Inns of Court – Louis M. Welsh Chapter.
Micaela is admitted to practice in California, as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Northern, and Southern Districts of California, and the District of Colorado. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington State University.
Outside of her legal practice, Micaela serves on the Board of Directors for her local elementary school’s non-profit foundation. She enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and spending time with her family.
