Soundous Bouchouar focuses her practice on defending management in employment litigation. She represents employers in state and federal court, as well as before administrative agencies, in matters involving New Jersey’s LAD, CEPA and FLA, as well as federal claims under the FMLA, ADA, and Title VII.
Soundous served a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Craig M. Straw at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Honorable Hany A. Mawla at the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division. Soundous received her J.D. from Rutgers Law School-Newark and her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University, New Brunswick. During law school, Soundous served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Esther Salas at the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
