Associate, Soundous Bouchouar, focuses her practice on the defense of management in employment-related disputes. She represents employers in state and federal court. Soundous partners with employers to create internal best practices for managing employee relations matters, investigates employee relations concerns, drafts employment and separation agreements, and employee handbooks and policies. Additionally, she independently represented a pro bono client in a contempt trial and obtained a not guilty verdict.
Soundous served a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Craig M. Straw at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Honorable Hany A. Mawla at the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division. Soundous received her J.D. from Rutgers Law School-Newark and her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University, New Brunswick. During law school, Soundous served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Esther Salas at the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
