Suicide Awareness Month

Our California office partnered with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, walking alongside a community united by hope, remembrance, and care for one another. Together, 1,522 registered walkers, 170 walk teams and 90 volunteers helped raise over $222,000 for suicide prevention. Beyond those numbers were people honoring loved ones, sharing their stories, and showing up for those who need support. Thank you to Brooke Bucknum and Mateo Garcia for representing NFC with compassion and helping bring awareness to a cause that touches so many lives. We’re proud to be part of a community committed to reminding people that they matter and that support is available. Know the signs. Start the conversation. Be there.
