Carol Shieh’s practice focuses on the defense of management in employment-related disputes. Prior to joining NFC, Carol worked for a prominent San Diego-based firm as an Associate Attorney responsible for defending employers in all stages of litigation, as well as providing counsel regarding compliance with employment and labor laws. Carol defends single and multiple-plaintiff litigation on behalf of employers in harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour (including PAGA and class action) disputes.

In addition, Carol regularly counsels employers on a wide range of workplace issues under federal, state, and local laws. She received her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of California San Diego.
