Maegan Madrigal advises and represents employers in a wide range of employment law matters, helping clients navigate workplace challenges while minimizing legal risk and advancing their business objectives. She works closely with employers to assess new claims and disputes, develop effective litigation strategies, and provide practical guidance on issues involving the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the California Family Rights Act (CFRA), disability accommodations, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour compliance, including matters arising under the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA).
In addition to her employment counseling and litigation practice, Maegan assists employers in evaluating and strengthening workplace policies and procedures to ensure compliance with evolving state and federal laws. She also conducts internal workplace investigations involving employee complaints and allegations of misconduct, helping clients assess potential exposure, determine the validity and scope of claims, and implement appropriate corrective measures when necessary.
When Maegan’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her dog, trying out new local restaurants, and taking on new hobbies. As a self-proclaimed penguin fan, she’s always happy to visit the zoo or any place where penguins are part of the attraction. She also has a passion for travel and enjoys exploring both domestic and international destinations.
