Shelby’s experience includes handling all phases of litigation, from early case assessment and discovery through depositions, mediation, motion practice, and trial preparation. She has successfully litigated a variety of significant pretrial matters, including motions to compel arbitration, dispositive motions, and complex discovery disputes, and has extensive experience defending employers against high-exposure wage and hour and representative action claims. Drawing on substantial experience defending employers in complex California employment matters, Shelby provides strategic guidance designed to minimize risk while advancing her clients’ business objectives.
When she’s not advocating for employers, Shelby can often be found on the tennis court. She also enjoys traveling and taking time to experience new destinations.
