Whitney H. Lazo focuses her practice on the defense of management in employment-related matters. She defends employers in state and federal court, and before various administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Department of Labor. She researches, drafts, and files various motions, such as successful Motion to Compel, Motion to Dismiss, and oppositions to Motion for Reconsideration. Whitney also prepares answers on behalf of employers to complaints brought by plaintiffs alleging employment law claims such as violations of Title VII, CEPA, NJLAD, FMLA, and ADEA.
Whitney received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Maryland where she majored in Government and Politics and minored in History in 2017. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2021. After law school, Whitney clerked for the Honorable Thomas c. Miller, A.J.S.C, Somerset/Hunterdon/Warren, New Jersey Superior Courts.
Before joining NFC, Whitney practiced at Hoagland, Longo, Moran, Dunst, & Dukas, LLP in New Brunswick, NJ and was a Summer Associate at Levine, Furman & Rubin, LLC i East Brunswick, NJ.
