Matthew Seydel represents employers in a wide range of workplace disputes, including matters involving wage and hour compliance, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and related employment claims. He has significant experience handling all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation. Drawing on a diverse litigation background that includes employment, general liability, products liability, construction, and commercial disputes, Matthew provides clients with practical, business-focused counsel and strategic advocacy. His experience includes defending employers in complex, multi-claim employment actions and working closely with clients to navigate challenging workplace and litigation issues while advancing their business objectives.

Outside of his legal practice, Matthew enjoys taking advantage of Southern California’s outdoor lifestyle. An avid golfer and surfer, he also enjoys pickleball, deep-sea fishing, and following San Diego sports, including the Padres, Gulls, and Ducks.
